You will play a key role in how HERE Technologies positions itself in the market with respect to spatial data and geospatial technology. You will do this by:

• Exploring geospatial and AI technology around the industry and academia to find applications within the business.
• Leading multiple small Proof of Concept projects on technology and concepts in parallel.
• Leading a range of strategic projects by exploring, analysing and visualising the world’s largest spatial data store and keeping a finger on the pulse of offerings and alternatives from around the globe.
• Analysing valuable geographic data sources to detect hidden insights and new applications for HERE’s extensive library of global spatial data.
• Having the opportunity to help visualise these insights on a wide variety of platforms to enable the best story telling to HERE and our customers.
• Exploring an unlimited range of geospatial software and platforms from the HERE Platform, the full Esri suite, QGIS, FME, AWS and all the open software you can eat.

The activities on these projects will deepen your knowledge of not only geospatial technology and science, but also the automotive, transport and logistics industries.

You are a GIScience/Geoinformatics/Geospatial ninja, who is willing to take on the challenge of joining an agile organisation that is doing groundbreaking work in the world of Spatial Data. Moreover, you should bring a selection of the following skills:

• Bachelor or Master's degree, preferably in GIS / Computer Science, to deliver native geospatial foundations to your project delivery.
• Unbelievable project management skills to foster fun and creative project teams, delivering insightful and innovative results.
• An uncanny talent for storytelling and delivering insights to a technically and geographically diverse audience.
• Strong functional familiarity with ArcGIS, QGIS, and other data analysis and spatial data visualisation tools.
• An insatiable curiosity for everything geospatial and a deep drive to solve problems.
• An unquenchable thirst for knowledge and exploration

• Strong documenting and presentation skills

• Fluent English communication skills
