What's the role?

As a Software Engineer, you will:

  • Configure automation tools like Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools to support software development and release processes.
  • Apply code quality tools (e.g., Klocwork) across products and review defect reports.
  • Build scripts and tools using Python, Bash, or Perl to support debugging and networking solutions.
  • Analyse data, monitor performance indicators, and identify bottlenecks or performance issues.
  • Collaborate with global Solution Engineering teams to provide direct support for debugging and issue resolution.
  • Contribute to backend development projects, including REST API development and integration with OEM partners.

 

Who are you?

 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
    • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) and code quality tools.
    • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Perl.
    • Familiarity with backend development and REST APIs.
    • Ability to analyse data and troubleshoot performance issues.
    • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

The Global Solution Engineering and Maintenance team is tasked with evolving and maintaining HERE Automotive SDK and associated backend services; offers functionality on various domains: Routing, Rendering, Search, System, Traffic, Guidance used to enable in-car navigation use cases.We are searching for a Software Engineer with strong dev ops skills and backend development knowhow to join our team. Responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations. Develop, document & execute process/engineering solution for new/existing processes/solution/ products as the case may be. Must be a top-tier backend and dev ops engineer with proven proficiency in CI/CD development and backend development (REST API). Would be contributing to a wide range of projects and programs for dev ops and backend development.  Musthave good communication skills and be passionate about integration etc. specially with OEM platform.
