What's the role?

At HERE WeGo Pro, we bring HERE’s powerful location and routing technology directly to professional drivers and fleets through our Mobile and Web applications. We do so by enriching the HERE WeGo application with premium functionality (such as truck navigation) for our B2B customers. Our team is small (<10 people) but rapidly growing and tightly collaborating with the larger cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and product experts of HERE WeGo. We work together to build reliable, intuitive navigation experiences that support real-world logistics and commercial driving needs. We try to operate like a startup inside a corporate environment, in the sense that we strive to move fast, focus on the essential and be opportunistic in what we choose to work on, but always in accordance with our vision.

 

As a Product Manager for HERE WeGo Pro, you will play a key role in shaping and executing the product vision for our commercial navigation products. Your focus will be on delivering high-impact solutions that meet user and customer needs and align with business objectives.

 

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Owning and evolving the product roadmap based on market needs, broader strategy and internal alignment
  • Over time, influence the strategy for the HERE WeGo Pro product, with a focus around the truck navigation use case (our core), to support overall business goals
  • Enhancing the value proposition, to increase our competitiveness in the market
  • Working closely with Sales and Marketing, to boost product awareness and grow our customer base
  • Closely interact with existing and potential customers, to understand their needs.
  • Collaborating closely with design, engineering, QA, and other internal teams to drive delivery
  • Aligning with cross-functional groups including Automotive, Enterprise, Location Services, Map Content, and more to deliver on the roadmap
  • As our Sales team and customer base is global (EMEA, AMER, APAC), occasional calls outside of the regular business hours may be needed

You will also contribute to the following:

  • Respond to customer support requests
  • Help with customer onboarding
  • Review and improve our documentation

These will help you understand better how users and customers experience the product.

Who are you?

To succeed in this role, you should bring:

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar technical field with a Bachelor's/Master's degree.
  • Demonstrated success in managing mobile apps as a Product Manager.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and coordinate across multiple teams, driving topics to success and making significant tradeoff decisions.
  • Strategic thinking with attention to detail when needed.
  • Expertise in interpreting and leveraging app KPIs and analytics to drive decisions.
  • Experience in identifying the core user needs and working with the engineering team to find the solution with highest leverage, in terms of value vs effort.
  • Ability to learn quickly unfamiliar topics

Nice to have:

 

  • Experience related to key company domains such as navigation, commercial vehicles, fleet, logistics, and last mile deliver
  • Software engineering experience, or having managed products targeted to developers- making it easy for customers to integrate and use our product is key.
