What's the role?

As the Sr Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert level quality support to customer escalations with the help of internal & external problem-solving techniques. You will practice Lean Six Sigma principles for process improvements and ensure quality data governance and analytics.

 

You will also be responsible for ensuring the correct application of HERE Quality Management System along with Audit program support, and risk management in ‘Platform & Technology - Quality’. You will report to the Manager Quality in P&T Quality and will be provided the opportunity to collaborate with other regional & Global Quality team members.

 

Your main responsibilities include :

  • Serving as the primary regional quality reference for measurement, statistical analysis, and data‑driven quality topics across Database Quality projects 
  • Defining and governing quality measurements, metrics, and statistical approaches to be applied consistently across projects 
  • Owning the regional quality plan and maintaining related process documentation in alignment with the HERE Quality Management System 
  • Reviewing and influencing tooling requirements and process changes to ensure quality, robustness, and compliance are built in 
  • Leading and coordinating investigations into quality incidents, including end‑to‑end resolution and stakeholder alignment within the region 
  • Monitoring schedules, testing activities, and RCA progress, and facilitating structured Root Cause Analysis (RCA) forums 
  • Supporting internal and external 8D / structured problem‑solving activities as required 
  • Applying and improving internal HERE quality tools, methods, and governance processes 
  • Supporting certification, surveillance, and maintenance audits for standards such as ISO 9001, IATF/TS 16949, Automotive SPICE, or similar frameworks

Who are you?

You are a strong match for this role if you possess the following skills, competencies, and experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related disciplines
  • Minimum 2 years of hands‑on quality experience, with 6+ years of overall professional experience
  • Practical working knowledge of RCA, CAPA, and structured problem‑solving approaches (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean methodologies)
  • Awareness and practical exposure to quality and process‑maturity standards such as ISO 9001, Automotive SPICE, DM‑SPICE, or comparable frameworks, particularly in audit, assessment, or governance contexts
  • Comfortable using AI‑assisted analytics or intelligent tools to enhance quality insights, trend analysis, or decision support within modern quality and process‑governance environments
  • Ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and communicate insights clearly through visualizations, presentations, and structured documentation
  • Demonstrated end‑to‑end process mindset, with the ability to connect operational quality signals to broader system and governance implications
  • Proven ability to work independently, while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams and regional/global stakeholders
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in any other regional language is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ArcGIS or similar spatial/data tools is an advantage, but not mandatory
  • Ability to work without Visa or Work Permit support in Singapore
