As the Account Executive you will be responsible for building relationships and securing business with Japanese Automotive System Vendors for the purpose of expanding HERE’s business in Automotive use cases. You will also play an important part in revenue growth and other key metrics.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Selling the core value proposition of HERE Technologies focusing mainly on Tier 1 Automotive System Vendor accounts and achieving yearly assigned sales targets in nurturing, uncovering prospective new business opportunities at the assigned accounts portfolio, and responding to  RFI/RFQ requests with internal ‘Go to market’ team.
• Managing and strengthening business relationships to become a trusted advisor at various organizational levels in the assigned accounts and other external parties in the relevant industry segment as needed, through constant and flexible approaches in asserting HERE products & services portfolio.
• Understanding licensing models, pricing structures, and essential contract terms in customer proposals, price negotiations, and effective internal & external communications to better fit the business cases, teaming up with the subject matter experts in internal global teams.
• With “Win-together” mindset, closely aligning and collaborating with vehicle OEM account leads, other regional operations, product teams, and other back office supports to provide credible, and effective communications with the respective System Vendors.
• Maintain your self-managed account plans & executions, sales reports, market & competitor insights.

You can be successful in this role if you possess the following skills, competencies and experience.

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related fields
• You possess 12+ years of work experience in B2B, direct sales, with a track record of achieving quotas, especially in selling to Automotive OEMs or Automotive System Vendors
• Experience in dealing with Japanese Automotive System Vendors using a solution driven sales approach
• Ability to engage with senior executives (Managing Officer, General Manager, Director, Senior Manager, Chief Engineer) within Tier 1 Automotive System Vendors
• Validated skills in strategic account management, planning and delivery.
• Strong negotiation, commercial, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with Geographically dispersed teams.
• Fluent in English and Japanese.
