What's the role?

As our Sr. HR Operations Generalist, you will be the first point of contact for employees and People Leaders across EMEA, with a primary focus on France, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, and Finland.
This role combines operational excellence with a continuous improvement mindset. Success in this position is measured primarily by the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of HR support delivered to employees and managers across EMEA, while also contributing to selected process optimization and HR technology initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior member of the EMEA People Enablement team, delivering high-quality Tier 0, Tier 1, and Tier 2 HR support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employment agreements, employee changes, absence management, payroll administration, employee relations, and offboarding activities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and People Leaders on HR policies, employment conditions, employee relations matters, and operational HR processes, particularly in France.
  • Ensure operational excellence, compliance, accuracy, and a positive employee experience across all HR processes and employee interactions.
  • Collaborate closely with Business HR, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Total Rewards, HRIS, and Legal teams to deliver seamless support across the employee lifecycle.
  • Mentor junior team members, share expertise and best practices, and contribute to the ongoing development of the wider People Enablement team.
  • Use data, employee feedback, and operational insights to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and service excellence.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives that simplify work, improve efficiency, and enhance employee experience.
  • Partner with HRIS teams to define business requirements, participate in testing activities, and support the implementation of new workflows and system enhancements.
  • Support regional and global projects as an operational subject matter expert representing EMEA HR Operations.
  • Collaborate with PMO and cross-functional stakeholders on selected transformation initiatives that improve scalability, consistency, and effectiveness across the organization.

About the Team

Our EMEA People Enablement team is part of a connected global People Enablement organization that spans APAC and the Americas. We are a diverse, international team of 10 based in Eindhoven, and together we provide core HR operational support to more than 1,700 employees across 30 countries in EMEA.
Around 80% of our employees are expats, creating a truly international environment where no two days are the same. We are transforming the way we work by moving from a hyper-local support model toward a globally aligned operational framework, while keeping employee experience at the center of everything we do.
Over the past year, the team has played a key role in the implementation of Oracle HCM and is now focused on optimizing established processes, introducing new workflows, and enhancing system capabilities that were not included in the original go-live scope. We work closely with HRIS and PMO teams to drive process improvements, strengthen global alignment, and increase operational efficiency across the organization.
This role is first and foremost an HR Operations position. While you will contribute to Oracle HCM enhancements, process improvements, and selected transformation initiatives, your primary focus will be delivering exceptional operational support to employees and People Leaders across EMEA. For the foreseeable future, approximately 80% of the role will be dedicated to HR Operations and employee support activities, with 20% focused on projects, continuous improvement, and system enhancements.
